Buildings, vehicles damaged in KCK rolling gun battle

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Bullets from a rolling gun battle near a busy Kansas City, Kansas, intersection on Friday damaged two buildings and two cars, police said.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., KCK police responded to 75th Street and State Avenue on reports that shots had been fired.

When officers arrived, witnesses said that two cars were shooting at each other in a parking lot.

Though no people were struck, the Big Lots and Randy Curnow buildings were hit with bullets. Two cars in the area were also hit, police said.
