KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash involving a car into a building Tuesday morning.
Crews were dispatched out around 8:30 a.m. to a reported crash at Smart Avenue and Jackson Avenue.
41 Action News has learned that four people were in a car headed westbound on Smart Avenue when it crashed into a house.
Four people were extricated from the car and transported to area hospitals. Two of them had critical injuries, police said. The other two were seriously hurt.
Police believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.
There was no major damage to the house.
