KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Three people are in custody after a stolen truck crashed into a building Sunday evening.
According to police, officers saw a vehicle that had been reported stolen in a strong-arm robbery in the area of 24th and Quincy.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspects pulled over briefly before fleeing south. Officers pursued the vehicle and saw it crash into the Hope City International House of Prayer near E. 24th St. and Van Brunt Blvd.
One person was taken into custody at the scene and was taken to the hospital to be examined for injuries.
After a search of the area, two other suspects were taken into custody. The suspects are described as two black males and one white female.
Police say no officers were injured in the incident.
There's no word on the extent of damage to Hope City at this time.
