Sunday marked the 73rd anniversary of the USS Missouri's christening.
Construction started on the USS Missouri in January 1941.
“Mighty Mo” has earned numerous awards for serving in three wars.
As the last active battleship in the world, it was turned into a museum when it moved to Pearl Harbor in January 1999.
