KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hundreds turned out to Kansas City's Central Academy to honor one of the most decorated high school basketball coaches in history.

Jack Bush Sr. has accomplished a lot during his storied career. Bush took over the Blue Eagles basketball team in 1968. By the time he called it quits in 2001, his teams compiled 799 wins.

Monday, Central named its basketball court after the "dean of high school basketball coaches." At age 93, the energetic icon is still a major influence on the school, his players, and the community.
