An electrical issue forced the diversion of a Chicago to Tucson flight to land in Kansas City Monday morning.
Kansas City authorities responded to Kansas City International Airport just after 11 a.m. on a report that American Airlines Flight 1507 experienced an electrical problem and requested to divert to KCI.
About 20 minutes later, the flight, a Boeing 737 carrying 130 people on board, landed at KCI without incident.
It wasn’t immediately clear how soon the Tucson-bound passengers would be able to continue their journey.
