Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, fiancée Brittany Matthews announce baby is a girl

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City's Super Bowl MVP is going to have a daughter.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancée, Brittany Matthews, announced their baby's gender in a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday.

The video showed the couple's dogs walk down a white path with pink paws to reveal the gender.

On Twitter, the MVP simply shared, "#girldad."

The couple announced at the end of September that they are expecting their first child. They got engaged on Sept. 1 after the Chiefs' Super Bowl ring ceremony.
