KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tickets for Kansas City Chiefs postseason tickets go on presale Wednesday, and are officially on sale starting Thursday.
The Chiefs increased their playoff odds after they defeated their AFC rival, the Oakland Raiders Sunday.
The Chiefs are preparing to be the potential host of the AFC Wild Card game or the AFC Divisional Round playoff game.
Fans will be able to purchase the postseason tickets beginning Dec. 5. Residents of Jackson County, Chiefs Season Ticket Members and Chiefs Kingdom Rewards members can purchase early on Dec. 4
Tickets can be purchased online, through the Chiefs app or at Arrowhead Stadium.
Jackson County residents looking to take advantage of the presale must purchase tickets at Arrowhead Stadium and can do so beginning at 9 a.m. Dec. 4. The purchase requires photo ID and a 2018 Jackson County property tax receipt.
Chiefs Season Tickets Members were already given the opportunity to opt-in to postseason tickets, but will have the presale opportunity to purchase additional single-game tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Dec. 4.
Chiefs Kingdom Rewards Members can take part in the presale beginning at noon on Dec. 4.
If the Chiefs do not play the postseason game, fans will be refunded the full amount of the ticket. All tickets and parking passes will be mobile only.
The tickets are currently just for the AFC Wild Card game and Divisional Round playoff game. AFC Championship tickets will only go on sale if that game is confirmed.
The Wild Card game would take place on Jan. 4 or Jan. 5, the Divisional game would take place on Jan. 11 or Jan. 12 and the Championship game would take place on Jan. 19.
