KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 1-year-old child was injured in an accident Monday at a Northland motel's pool.
The incident happened about 3:50 p.m. at a motel in the 3900 block of North Mulberry Street, according to a Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department spokesman.
The child slipped out of a life jacket, but no information was available on whether the child fell into the pool or on the pool deck.
The spokesman said the child was breathing, but unconscious when taken to a hospital.
