KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A juvenile was critically injured in a shooting in Ferrelville, Missouri Thursday.
There is no word yet on the victim's sex or age but officials did say the victim was under the age of 10.
The shooting happened on the 500 block of 6th Street in Ferrelville.
Adults and other juveniles were present at the time of the shooting, according to the Platte County Sheriff's Department.
Platte County Sheriff's Sgt. Jeffrey Shanks said it has not been determined if the shooting was accidental but officials aren't looking for any suspects.
