KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A chlorine leak was reported Sunday at a General Mills plant in the 2900 block of Guinotte Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.
Fire crews responded shortly after 10:30 a.m. to the leak, which forced employees to evacuate the five-story building.
KCFD Deputy Chief/Chief Fire Marshal Jimmy Walker said the leak was contained to inside the building and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the leak has not yet been determined.
