KANSAS CITY, Mo. — You might not get your name in giant neon letters atop the newest skyscraper in downtown Kansas City, but you can contribute to an update of the greater downtown area plan.

The city is hosting a public meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 to hear from residents about the their long-term visions for the area.

The Greater Downtown Area Plan was originally adopted in 2010, and includes an area from North Kansas City to 31st Street and from the state line to Woodland Avenue.

Plan details include land use, housing, public improvements, community development and government services.

The meeting will be held in Room 2104 A at Bartle Hall.
