KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Block Real Estate Services (BRES) is holding a demonstration of its unique architectural lighting display at the CityPlace campus in Overland Park Wednesday.
There will be four variations shown to the public: seasonal display, local art, a holiday celebration and an awareness campaign.
The demonstration will happen ahead of a vote by the Overland Park City Council to approve the display.
Many say they are concerned by the lighting because it could distract drivers as they pass by.
The demonstration begins at 5 p.m. and BRES principal Ken Block will be there to present. The display runs until 10:15 p.m.
The city council will vote on the issue during its meeting on Dec. 2.
