The Clara Manor Nursing Home was evacuated after a fire started in the kitchen area of the home.
Firefighters responded at 5:30 p.m. Sunday to 3621 Warwick Blvd. in reference to a fire that started in the kitchen.
The fire was classified as minor, but crews evacuated seniors from the nursing home following the fire call, according to an eyewitness at the scene.
Crews are still on scene.
No injuries have been reported.
