Construction crews found a body inside a house being demolished in Merriam on Friday, according to the Merriam Police Department.
The body was found around 12:30 p.m. in a house located on 5400 block of Antioch Road.

Crews told 41 Action news they thought the body was a mannequin, but as they got closer the smell was overwhelming.
The cause of death is being investigated by local police.
"There was no obvious signs to lead us to believe it was a homicide. However, we will investigate it as a homicide until we can determine that it's not," said Merriam Police Department Capt. Troy Duvanel.
