KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hot Country Nights at KC Live! announced on Facebook that Thursday night's planned act will not be able to perform.
Country artist Granger Smith was scheduled to perform in the Power and Light District for the weekly summer show, but the organization said he will have to miss due to family matters.
Granger Smith made the announcement on his Facebook page that his family lost their young son in a tragic accident.
Jerrod Niemann will perform in the place of Smith and the concert will be free.
