Crash involving two semis shuts down westbound I-70 near K-7 Highway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Bonner Springs Fire Department says emergency crews are currently on the scene of a two-semi crash that also involved a vehicle fire on I-70.

Westbound I-70 is currently shut down at K-7.

Eastbound I-70 is reduced to one lane.

The Bonner Springs Police Department is asking people to avoid the area if possible.

There's no word on injuries at this time.
