KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Crown Center Ice Terrace opened for its 46th season Friday morning.
Hundreds of people gathered to enjoy free skating, coffee and hot chocolate.
The Ice Terrace is Kansas City's only public outdoor skating rink.
Regular admission is $7.00, and is free for adults older than 60 years and children under four.
Skaters are welcome to bring their one skates, or can rent a pair for $3.00.

November, December and January:
Sunday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.
February and March:
Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday - Thursday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Thanksgiving Day, 3 pm - 10 p.m.
Christmas Eve, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Christmas Day, CLOSED
New Year's Eve, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
New Year's Day, noon - 9 p.m.
