KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A dead body was found near a burning car shortly after midnight Saturday.
Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department crews responded to a car fire around 12:19 a.m. to the area south of 604 North Garland Avenue on railroad tracks.
The driver’s door was open when fire crews arrived, according to a news release, and a dead body that “appeared to be severely burned” was located next to the vehicle.
The vehicle looked as if it has been involved in a crash, the release stated.
