KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash on Monday morning on Interstate 35 in Olathe.

First responders were called around 11:50 a.m. Monday on a crash on southbound Interstate 35 near W. 119th Street.

According to troopers, the driver of a 2008 Cadillac DTS was driving south in the far left lane when the Cadillac struck the rear bumper of a 2021 Toyota Camry.

The force of the collision forced the Cadillac into the outside barrier wall. Troopers say the vehicle continued to drive down the shoulder, intermittently striking the barrier wall before it traveled into the grass shoulder over a small hill, became airborne and rolled over on its roof.

The driver of the Cadillac, 29-year-old Isaiah Foster, of Olathe, died from injuries in the crash. The driver of the Camry was treated for minor injuries.
One vehicle reportedly rolled over and ended up in the median.
