OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – There will be no baby goat bottle feeding Monday in Overland Park.
The Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead posted Friday that they are a “go” for their season opener – their 40th – on Monday, but they are “no-go(ats)” for farmstead guests feeding baby goats after some of the little ones came down with “ecthyma,” or sore mouth.
The Farmstead’s post said the baby goads are receiving treatment and will eventually be fine, allowing bottle feeding to continue.
