KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A dog is dead after a garage and car caught fire at a home in Spring Hill, Kansas, Thursday morning.
Firefighters responded to the call just before 3 a.m. at a duplex on South Main Street.
When crews arrived, the garage was completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters don't know if the garage or car caught fire first.
The homeowners got out safely with just one of their two dogs.
The home on the other side did not suffer any damage.
