KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating after a driver crashed into a BP convenience store Friday morning.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. on St. John Avenue.
After crashing into the building, the driver fled the scene.
Several glass doors were broken and appliances damaged.
Police do have surveillance footage in their possession.
Employees said they plan to clean up the damage and open later this morning.
