KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead after a wrong-way crash in Belton.
Belton police were dispatched to southbound I-49 just before midnight on Saturday. Police say a driver was going in the wrong direction.
That driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's not known at this time if any other vehicles were involved.
The Belton police department's traffic unit is investigating.
The driver's identity has not yet been released.
