KANSAS CITY, Kan. — One man died Thursday in a one-vehicle crash near the 18th Street Expressway and Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to KCKPD, a black SUV, which was traveling southbound on the 18th Street Expressway, left the roadway around 6:10 p.m. and rolled off the bridge.
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died from injuries sustained in the crash, KCKPD said in a release.
He was later identified as 25-year-old Leroy Richardson of Kansas City, Kansas.
The Traffic Support Unit/Critical Collision Response Team is investigating the incident.
