'Due to overwhelming demand,' George Strait adds second Kansas City date

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — George Strait has added a second concert date in Kansas City, Missouri, after tickets for his first “Strait to the Heartland” show sold out quickly.

The country music star will perform at the Sprint Center again on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, “due to overwhelming demand.”

Asleep at the Wheel will join Strait for both performances, the Sprint Center said.

Tickets for the second show will go on sale to the general public Friday, May 31 at 10 a.m.

The Sprint Center said they will be available on its website starting at $75.

There will be a limited number of tickets reserved for George Strait Fan Club members beginning Tuesday, May 28 at 10 a.m.
