KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, said a person got himself to a hospital after being shot. He is in serious condition, yet remains stable.
A police report shows officers responded to East 83rd Street and Hillcrest Road at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday to investigate the sound of gunshots in the area.
Later, police made contact with the shooting victim at the hospital. The victim, whom police have not publicly identified, said he was in his car when an unknown person started shooting him.
Police found a sedan with bullet holes in one of the windows not too far away, near Gregory Boulevard and Kensington Avenue, but have not said if it's connected to the shooting.
