Earthquake in Oklahoma felt in Kansas City

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake was reported just west of Cushing, Oklahoma around 7:44 p.m. Sunday, according to the USGS.

Numerous Kansas City area residents took to Facebook and Twitter to report feeling the quake. 

The National Weather Service says you can report feeling the earthquake on the USGS website.

This is the second earthquake from Oklahoma felt in the Kansas City area this month. Overnight on Nov. 2, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake was reported in Pawnee.
