KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was reported west-southwest of Hutchinson, Kansas, on Sunday afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Society said the earthquake was reported at 1:08 p.m. about 1 mile west-southwest of Hutchinson, which is about 219 miles southwest of Kansas City.
Damage or injury results were not yet known.
Trooper Ben Gardner of the Kansas Highway Patrol tweeted that he felt the earthquake in Lindsborg.
