KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police are investigating after an East High School student told a school official she performed a sex act on a teacher.
That revelation came in a Nov. 20 report taken by a Kansas City, Mo., police officer at the school.
A girl who knows the alleged victim told the school's principal the victim told her she had sexual contact with the teacher a month or two before, according to the report.
She also said she recorded the victim telling her about the incident, the report states.
The report also notes a school official told the officer the victim and the other girl had been close friends but had a recent fight.
The victim's friend came to the school official with information about the sexual contact after the fight, according to the report.
The teacher is on administrative leave while police and state investigators work the case.
The teacher stated at the school in September.
