Elderly man missing from Lebanon, Mo.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A silver alert has been issued for elderly man who was reported missing from Lebanon, Missouri, on Thanksgiving evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the alert for Donald Earl Williams on Saturday.

Williams, 87, was traveling from Lebanon, which is located about three hours southeast of Kansas City, on Thursday. He spoke with family about 6:50 p.m. and was believed to be in Hutchinson, Kansas, or Johnson, Nebraska, which is located 2 1/2 hours northwest of Kansas City.  

Williams suffers from a serious medical condition and may have an altered mental state due to a lack of sleep. He told family he was lost and hasn't made any contact since.

Williams is a white male, 5-feet-10 and 160 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen driving a gray 1995 Chrysler New Yorker with a Missouri tag SS2M1R.
