Endangered Silver Advisory canceled for Independence man

UPDATE, July 7, 7:12 a.m. | The Independence Police Department has canceled the Endangered Silver Advisory for John S. Livesay II. He has been located and is safe.

EARLIER | The Independence Police Department has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing Independence man.

Police say John S. Livesay II was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 17500 block of E. Cheyenne Drive.

He walked away from home and has not returned.

Police say he has dementia and unspecified cardiac issues.
