KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Independence Police Department called off an Endangered Silver Alert on Friday for a missing 88-year-old man .
Robert R. Tyson left his house earlier in the day to pay a bill at an Independence city building. He did not make it to the building, according to an alert from the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Fortunately, a family member located him and he is safe.
