KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Mercer County inmate who escaped once before is again on the loose and may be in the Kansas City area, according to the U.S. Marshals Service for the Western District of Missouri.
Drake Kately, 27, escaped Wednesday night from his jail cell in Mercer County.
Kately, who is from Kansas City, was believed to be heading there following the escape.
Kately also escaped from the Mercer County Jail in August.
He has several felony warrants, including felon in possession of a firearm, escape, and violating probation on a burglary charge in Jackson County.
Anyone with information about Kately’s whereabouts should call 911.
