KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Evergy Missouri West customers will see an 2-cent increase on their monthly statements beginning in December.
The Missouri Public Service Commission approved the electrical company's application to adjust the Renewable Energy Standard Rate Adjustment Mechanism (RESRAM) charge.
"The RESRAM charge is designed to recover costs associated with Missouri’s Renewable Energy Standard," a news release stated.
Residential customers who use 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month will see the RESRAM charge increase to 90 cents from 88 cents as of Dec. 1.
