KANSAS CITY, Mo. — ExlService, an operations management and analytics company, will lay off more than 80 workers at its Lee’s Summit location.

The company notified the Missouri Division of Workforce Development last week that roadside assistance operations will cease at 777 Northwest Blue Parkway beginning Jan. 31, 2020. The notice states that 82 people, including 31 ExlService employees, 27 Allied Global Services employees and 24 Aerotek employees, assigned to those operations will be affected.

The ExlService employees will be laid off permanently on Jan. 31, or “the 14-day period commencing on that date,” according to the notice.

Allied and Aerotek informed ExlService that they will “seek reassignment for their employees.”
