BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. -- Family and friends gathered Sunday evening to pray for the recovery of a Bonner Springs teen after a deadly crash last weekend.
Jay Jay Hill, 17, remains in the hospital after a single-vehicle crash Saturday, Oct. 21, near Kansas Ave and 7 Hwy.
The crash killed Seth Davidson, an 18-year-old high school senior and passenger in the vehicle.
Hill's family says he has not regained consciousness after the crash and suffers a severe brain injury.
A fundraiser to help the family with medical costs is planned at Reich's Club on 34th and Strong Ave. on Nov. 11 from 1-6 p.m.
T-shirts and bracelets are also being sold to raise funds.
