A Paola, Kansas woman is dead after a fatal crash on Highway 169 and 199th street in Johnson County.
Officials say Jera Luann Fahey, 50, rear-ended a semi before driving off the road and drove through a fence before hitting a tree. It's unclear what led to the collision.
The driver of the semi was transferred to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is not known.
