KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Sedalia, Mo woman is dead after a crash in Pettis County.
It happened Friday night just before 11:30 p.m.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 28-year old Mariah Nevils was riding as a passenger in a car traveling through a heavily wooded area when it went down a steep embankment.
The vehicle overturned, ejecting Nevils. She was pronounced dead on the scene by the Pettis County coroner.
