KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a car and a motorcycle near the Ford plant in Claycomo.
The crash happened about 5:50 a.m. on U.S. 69 near Grove Street in Claycomo.
The MSHP says the motorcyclist was killed.
Their preliminary investigation shows the motorcycle was traveling eastbound and a car traveling westbound began making a left turn into a parking lot.
The MSHP says the motorcycle struck the car and the motorcyclist was ejected.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
U.S. 69 near the Ford plant is currently closed.
