KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died after a stabbing Saturday in Kansas City, Kansas.
Police were called to the 2500 block of N. 55th Street at 10:40 a.m. on a suspicious person call. When officers arrived, they found a stabbing victim. That person was transported to the hospital where they later died of their injuries.
Police say the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. That person was taken into custody after a pursuit assisted by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
