One person has died in a multi-vehicle wreck on southbound I-435 during a rainy Thursday morning commute.
The crash had traffic near the stadiums at a complete standstill, and emergency crews were rerouting all drivers onto I-70 before the interchange. Motorists between the crash and the exit ramps, with no way off the highway, were simply stuck for nearly an hour.
Information regarding the cause of the crash was not immediately available, but officials confirmed three vehicles were involved.
