KANSAS CITY, Mo. — FedEx said Wednesday that it plans to hire more employees for the holiday season in the Kansas City metro.
More than 2,000 positions will be available at FedEx Ground facilities in the Kansas City and Lenexa areas. The available positions will be package handlers, which have the potential to become full-time opportunities, the company said in a news release.
Last month, UPS announced it would hire more than 1,100 employees in the metro for the holiday season.
