KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A female juvenile was shot inside a home Monday morning at 52nd & Olive in Kansas City, Missouri.
A police spokesperson says officers initially responded to an area hospital where a gunshot victim, described as a female juvenile under the age of 5, arrived had arrived by a private vehicle.
Police believe the shooting took place in the 5200 block of Olive.
The girl's injuries are described as not life-threatening.
An investigation is underway.
