KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A small fire on the roof of Smokehouse Barbecue at Zona Rosa caused the restaurant to be evacuated Sunday afternoon.
The fire happened around 2:45 p.m. when the chimney on the building went up in flames.
Firefighters commended the quick work of restaurant staff in getting people out of the building safely. There were no reported injuries.
At this time, the cause of the fire and the extend of the damage is unknown.
