KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first #NnadiDog of the 2020-21 NFL season now has a forever home.
KC Pet Project shared a picture of the first dog to be adopted after the Kansas City Chiefs season opener win.
Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi partners with the shelter to cover the adoption fee for the first dog adopted after the team wins a game.
The Derrick Nnadi Foundation is responsible for helping fund the partnership.
This is the second year of this promotion.
After the Chiefs Superbowl win in February, Nnadi also committed to covering the adoption fees of all the animals at KC Pet Project.
