KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City metro will be one of the centers of the sports universe this Sunday as it hosts both the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway and the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City figures to be well-profiled by NBC Sports, which will broadcast both events and plans to cross-promote announcers.

On the NASCAR side, former driver and current analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr. will cover the race, which starts at 1:30 p.m., and then race east on Interstate 70 to Arrowhead Stadium in time for NBC’s Sunday Night Football pregame show at 6 p.m.

On the NFL side, sideline reporter Michele Tafoya will don a racing suit and plans to take a few laps around Kansas Speedway on Saturday.

For those on Snapchat, producers from NBC Sports are using the social media site’s curation tool to create a story from users snapping at Kansas Speedway and Arrowhead Stadium.
