KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A former Wyandotte County sheriff’s deputy is facing sexual assault charges.
Wyandotte County District Attorney Mark Dupree Friday charged John Warczakoski with sexual battery of a female law enforcement officer.
Dupree said the alleged incidents happened in May and September of 2018.

Warczakoski, who is no longer with the department, served as a Wyandotte County deputy for 12 years.
He’s set to appear in court on the charges next month.
