KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark is the latest player to sign autographs in the metro following the team’s Super Bowl victory.
Clark appeared Sunday afternoon at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Leawood.
Fans began arriving at 9 a.m. to secure a wristband for the signing with the man who sealed the win for the Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.
20 years after his death, Derrick Thomas is still remembered as one of the greatest to ever wear a Chiefs' uniform. @TheRealFrankC_ wore Thomas' jersey during the parade. Here's what he had to say about honoring Thomas.

Clark said he still is taking in the experience of a winning Super Bowl LIV.
"I don't want to catch my breath yet,” Clark said. “I feel like I'm still taking it in, still enjoying it because once you get back focused on that next round, you're back focused. That's just how I am. I'm short-term memory. Once it's gone, it's gone ‘cause we still got more football to play in a few months and that's just the nature of the game."
Other Chiefs players will be signing autographs at various Dick’s Sporting Goods locations later this week. Chris Jones will be in Leawood from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, and Tyrann Mathieu will be at the Zona Rosa location from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Wristbands will be distributed beginning at 9 a.m.
