A gas odor inside a building forced the evacuation of Butler Brothers Lofts at 8th and Broadway Thursday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Officials were called about the odor inside the building. MGE and the fire department responded.
MGE said the building doesn't have gas service, and officials are investigating the odor.
Broadway is closed from 8th to 9th Street.
